Speaker profile step 1

Use this page to capture session and speaker metadata. There is no password or authentication gate. The fields below (except display name and session ID/email) travel with the audio so researchers can label the dataset. Display name and session ID/email are kept separately for the leaderboard and daily limit, and are never attached to recordings.

🎧 Step 1 — Mic & room check

We record in raw, studio-grade quality — no noise cancellation, no auto-volume. Your MacBook's built-in mics are great for this.

Input level — say “صباح الخير” a few times

Sit about an arm's length from the laptop.
Close the door if you can; avoid fans and AC hum.
Speak at the volume you'd use across a small table — the bar should reach the green zone without hitting red.

🔥 Step 2 — Today's warm-up

Your daily ice breaker: take one slow breath, drop your shoulders, and say today's line like you're greeting a friend in the corridor. Then listen back once — check the sound (no hiss, hum, or echo), not your voice. It's the same line for the whole office today, and it's the only playback you'll get: in the studio we keep rolling.
